Virginia Feldtman, the visionary behind Bedouin Societe, is transforming the way we live—one impeccably styled room at a time. Virginia’s journey began in the high-octane world of fashion, working for iconic brands such as Calvin Klein, before a bold pivot in her forties led her to chase a dream: creating a brand dedicated to the luxury of linen.
"People kept asking me… you’re forty, why aren’t you gearing down rather than gearing up? But the time felt right. I had a dream, and it was time to back it"
In a world dominated by perfection-driven media, Feldtman earned her crown as the queen of linen by rejecting the rigid structures of high-thread-count bedding. Instead, she embraces a minimal, unstructured style, where functionality meets effortless elegance.
Her fascination with textures isn’t new, Feldtman attributes it to her childhood. “My father was a textile chemist, and he worked with wool. I always loved playing with it—the texture really grabbed me,” she says.
Bedouin Societe’s purely linen policy was a daring move in an industry historically dominated by Egyptian cotton. Linen, made from flax fibers, is naturally breathable, regulates temperature year-round, and even has anti-bacterial properties—making it perfect for modern living (and those wary of sharing sheets with bed bugs!).
Virginia’s approach to colour is equally distinctive. “I don’t focus on trends at all. I focus on what I love—and what I love is minimal tones. The earth tones are soft, they transcend over many interiors.”
Her carefully curated palette of tranquil earth tones evokes balance and serenity, creating spaces designed for rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Every room, every piece, every linen sheet is thoughtfully considered—a subtle reminder that luxury is as much about feeling as it is about appearance.
